This is a stupid, stupid news story. Oh no..she lives in 'the woods' (where black bears do live) and she calls the police cause she actually sees one. That's like moving to Harlem and then calling the police cause you saw a black person.
I LOVE that they made a cutout and had someone walk the fake poster bear across the screen!!!! Because we may not have been able to picture this tragedy... LMAO
When I first saw Trixie struggling to survive on the streets of Pittsburgh, in the dead of winter, I couldn't pass her by. She was a waif, a skeleton, running in search of food, and for her very existence. The temperature that day was well below freezing. At approximately 9 months of age, she only weighted 9 pounds!
After 10 years of living with her, I'm still amazed by her loving good nature and gentleness. She has exceeded any expectation that I might have had, for any dog, and shattered all of my misconceptions about her breed, Pit Bull.
My mission since our first meeting is simple, to make sure that she is fed, warm, and comfortable. I rarely look at her without thinking about what she must have been through.
